CONTEST REQUIREMENTS - ANTS: NEXT GEN ARTIST PROGRAM 2025

1. The call is open to all artists of any nationality, with an age limit (adult age of 18+ is required) and who have not been awarded in a previous edition. Each artist may enter only one once.

2. Musical works must be 30–35-minute DJ mix recordings that the artist would like to play at ANTS events.

3. By submitting it to the competition, it is considered a sworn declaration, in which it is stated that the work submitted is original to the author, is has not been published previously, has not been the result of a paid commission or awarded in any other competition, has not been previously performed in a concert or public event, not even any of its parts (if any), neither with the current title nor with any other, nor retransmitted by any media. In the event that, after sending the work, and before the jury's decision, the work is a winner in another contest, the participant must immediately communicate this fact to the organization, as this would automatically invalidate his or her participation in the contest. The contestant who breaks anonymity will be excluded.

4. The deadline for submitting works begins on the day of publication of these bases on the unitedants.com, and will end on 23:59 CET, 8th May 2025., inclusive. Contributions registered after the indicated date and time will not be considered in the contest.

5. The decisions of the Judges will be final. The judge's decision will be made public on the UNITEDANTS.COM website during the month of June. Only the name of the winning composer will be made public, who will be informed immediately. The original work will remain in the possession of ANTS to disseminate on social media. The rest of the participants will be able to find out the result through the UNITEDANTS.COM website.

6. The author of the piece of music undertakes to include in any advertising thereof, as well as in all recordings, editions and programs that include the performance of said work the following inscription: ANTS: NEXT GEN ARTIST PROGRAM 2025.

7. In the event that, the musical work presented incorporates musical fragments or texts which belongs to other authors/composers (except when they are made as a quote, under the terms of article 32 of the Intellectual Property Law), said fragments or said texts must appear written in the materials provided, as well as the corresponding permissions must be accredited. In all cases, any responsibility will fall entirely to the contestants.

8. THE NIGHT LEAGUE, SL and USHUAÏA ENTERTAINMENT, S.L are exempt from any liability arising from plagiarism or any other transgression of current legislation on intellectual property in Spain and in any other country, which the contestants may incur with their works. Nor will it be responsible for any materials lost or damaged in shipment.

9. Participation in this contest implies unconditional acceptance of these rules, with the judge's decision being final. The interpretation of the rules will be the exclusive responsibility of the judge.
