Introducing ANTS: NEXT GEN, our search for new talent

UPDATE: We'd like to thank everyone who participated in our first contest, ANTS: NEXT GEN. Over 1000 entries have been submitted so far, and we're looking forward to listening to all of them.

We’ll announce the Top 10 entries at the beginning of June via our social channels, so keep an eye out.

Over the last decade, ANTS has helped establish many up-and-coming stars on the world stage, giving them a platform to go to the next level. Now, as part of our ANTS 10 YEARS STRONG celebration, we’re ready to unearth the next generation of talent.

The ultimate winner of the ANTS: NEXT GEN competition will get the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform on Ushuaïa Ibiza’s iconic poolside stage this summer, along with expert career mentorship to nurture their artistic development, a production masterclass with an ANTS resident DJ, and an array of DJ essentials.

Read on to find out how ANTS: NEXT GEN will supercharge the career of our winning DJ Talent.

1. Record a 30-35 minute mix in line with the sound of ANTS.

2. Upload the mix to your Soundcloud profile. The mix title should be: ANTS: NEXT GEN - Mix by DJ ***name here***.

3. Use ANTS: NEXT GEN artwork as a thumbnail (available below).

4. Add the following hashtags #ANTS10YEARSSTRONG #ANTSNEXTGEN

5. Add tracklist, email address & social media channels in the mix description.

6. Share the mix on your social media channels to your stories & feed, tagging @unitedants. When posting use the assets available to download via the button below.

You have 3 weeks to enter and promote your mix for listens. Mixes will be available on the Soundcloud hashtag page and included in a playlist on ANTS Soundcloud.

Entries close at 00:00 on 9th May.

Mixes will be evaluated based on 3 key factors: total number of listens, likes, and expert evaluations from our panel of judges. The judging process will last one week, with the top 10 announced in June. Our overall winner will be announced at the start of July.

After entries close, the mixes will be reviewed by our panel of expert judges and a winner will be chosen to win the top prize.
